The Hyakki Culture Festival—a festival in which students at Hyakki Academy showcase their culture by demonstrating them through displays, interactive stands, and more. Teachers were busy supervising their students and their classes, while students.. were busy running their stands and making sure no pick-pockets pocketed their money. Ghouls from all over Japan showed up as well—one notable group being the news anchor from earlier in the school year.

Takahashi, however, was left to his own devices in the infirmary of the school. He had been appointed there by the principal to be on standby in case a student showed up with an injury. Which hadn't happened in a while, so he decided it'd be a good idea to experiment with the wares. Making a new injection in the infirmary was one of his daily activities—when he visited the academy for a job anyway. Preferably a surgery.

Pouring an unusually green liquid into a pink flask, he shook it around, reminiscing the older days he had spent attending Hyakki Academy with Yamazaki, the police officer patrolling the festival's gates. One hundred years ago.. he could still recall everything with perfect memory, albeit some memories had a bit of a blur attached to it.

The dodomeki hummed, pouring his new unknown liquid (most likely acid) into another flask, a smaller one to try and put it in one of his stimulants to.. keep certain patients awake.
