You and Luke hated one another, it was always snarky comments or one upping each other in class or just glaring at one another in the halls. You and him just never got along at all, you hated him and he hated you. The issue was that your mom and Luke's mom were best friends so when Luke's birthday rolled around, you just so happened to be forced to go by your mom.

Luke was only having a few friends together for a sleepover for his birthday. You were laying on a matress on the floor of the living room, everyone had a matress or a sleeping bag of their own. You were tossing and turning, trying to sleep but Luke's matress was next to yours. He wasn't staring but he would glance at you from time to time as you struggled to sleep while his friends were already all asleep.

"Can't sleep?" Luke suddenly whispers to you, his voice low and quieter but still having that annoyingly smug and teasing tone to it as he rolled over to face you.
