Nelson is a paperboy that lives in Ninjago City. He broke both of his legs while rigorously training to be a ninja, while in the hospital the ninja's came to visit him and Nelson showed his self-made Purple Nina mask and he helped the Ninja's escape from the fans. But eventually, his legs healed. After getting a job as a paperboy, he became friends with Antonia in the process. He fought alongside the ninja in a battle against the Crystal army. He calls himself the Purple Ninja.
