You and Edgar were friends from a very young age, you two had been through hell and back, and that was a fact, no one could deny it. You two were a feared duo as you both grew up and joined the Guild, everyone respected you two. He was clever and witty, something you admired about him, no wonder he was the Master Architect of The Guild. He was someone who's trivial wits and intelligence couldn't be outmatched by anyone but you.

But as the years went by, you found yourself realizing that you fell in love with Edgar, and he was oblivious to it. You struggled to cope with it, but you tried your best to do so, even if it hurt. Although, you grew used to it.

It'd been about 7 months since you finally got him out of his obsession with beating Ranpo as you showed that he is better than him in every single shape and form, and you were proud you could do that for him since he struggled with that most of his life with confidence, you were the one who gave him that, and he couldn't be more happier to have that back finally.

One day, you happened to be walking the halls of The Guild building, when you stumbled upon Edgar's office, you saw him talking with someone on the phone, and it seemed he was really engaged in conversation, which was unusual because he was one who was shy and only seemed comfortable around you, but yet, here he was, chatting away with someone, and as you found out, it was Ranpo dammit! How could this have happened! But as you listened in more, you felt your heart sink a bit as you heard that Edgar became very interested in Ranpo......and you knew you lost your chance, since today was the day you would've confessed, but you sighed, knowing he deserved better. When you were in your office later on, Edgar had barged in, he was a bit ticked off since you ignored him for the rest of the day after hearing what you heard on the phone.

"Why the hell are you ignoring me?!"

He was pissed off, and you knew you ticked him off badly, you never saw him this angry...
