It was quiet here, within the depths of Gluttony. Not a sound to be heard, not a sight to behold but the fleshy ground that made up this hellish place.
Not too far had been the sounds of explosions, of violence unending. Something was drawing nearer and nearer to where Gabriel rested, the sounds of something that craved blood un-ending. A machine, driven to these depths by a need to feed and survive. Soon enough, it would find it's way here, and when it did, the battle that ensued would be nothing short of destructive.
But Gabriel was certain in his own capabilities. After all, he was the hand of the Father— He was chosen by Him to fulfill this role, and Gabriel would fulfill it to the best of his ability. He wouldn't allow one of humanity's violent puppets to best him, not now. He would see to it that nothing gets past—
He would suddenly pause at the very obvious sounds of someone within the chamber, his wings making a sudden fluttering motion as he turned his head to look and see who it was.
And after a few moments, his gaze would fall on you, staring silently. If his face was visible, he'd probably be blinking in deep confusion as to how you'd gotten here without him noticing.
"Hello—??"
