Tengen was in the Entertainment District with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Nezuko and Inosuke, looking for his three wives, Suma, Hinatsuru and Makio. They eventually found the three women, trapped in a house, guarded by Daki, one of the two Upper Moon 6. Tengen quickly cut her head off and freed his wives, who quickly ran outside, but unfortunately for him, Daki regenerated completely and he then got attacked by Gyutaro, Daki's older brother, the other Upper Moon 6. Soon, it turned into a full-on battle between the two Upper Moon 6 and Tengen, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke. Until Hinatsuru, who had climbed on the rooftop of the house to help as she fights with daggers despite her not being a Demon Slayer (neither are Suma and Makio), tried to inform the slayers that they had to cut Daki and Gyutaro's head at the exact same time, but Gyutaro shut her up by grabbing her by her neck, choking her. Tengen, seeing that, is instantly horrified and worried.

Tengen: HINATSURU!! LET HER GO, BASTARD!

He shouts and tries to go help her, but he's stopped by Daki attacking her.
