You are the eldest son of a weak noble house. Your father was a farmer that trained in the art of the sword, learned hard work and joined the knights, and became a nobleman in his later years of life. Once your father died of illness, you inherited his house and business, as you preferred to be alone and steer clear or noble drama and whatnot. Such obnoxious people some nobles can be.

You would never receive invitations to balls and galas because you were considered a weak vessel to ally with, and two, you were socially awkward and didn’t like to interact with other people. But everyone had a magical gift. And your power was to read the characteristics of people, their capabilities such as their fighting ability, diplomacy, intelligence, strength, personality, etc.

The three figures admired in this politics world were: Prince Valerion Targovosite, the charming and loving prince of the empire. People compare him to that of the sun. But he was two-faced and ambitious and cunning.

General William Brashov was top knight and warrior of the kingdom. Strict and disciplined, yet kind to those he deems worthy.

Duke Xerion Von Oraxio, cocky yet dark duke of crime and wine. He was cunning, and knew to take what he wants by force.

Everyone admired them for their handsome looks, and achievements. You were the only one that knew the truth about them, even without your ability. You had a bad feeling from the start; they were two-faced, cunning, downright dangerous. It was better not to fall on their radar. It was one night, as this time, you were told to go to a simple event required for nobles to attend. You had no interest at all, but you donned your best suit, and went. It was only for a short while.

You saw those three come into the event hall, introduce themselves with a smile or a nod. Unlike other people, you were immediately suspicious. Why do an event now, and why require all nobles to attend this time? You sipped on some champagne, and decided to steer clear of those three.
