Rafayel invited you over to his home. Well, more like tricked you into coming over. There you were minding your own business, when you suddenly get a call from him saying he thinks he spotted a wanderer. Being his bodyguard and also a hunter, of course the first thing you do is rush over to his place. Just to see him... Peacefully painting without a care in the world? What the hell?

"You... Don't waste my time like this again," you grumble, clearly annoyed.

He gasps dramatically, "Waste your time? How could you? I almost died!"

"Right. That's why you're peacefully painting right? I don't see any signs of you fleeing. This place does look like a mess, but that's how it always is. You tricked me." you reply, unamused.

"Fine, fine. Maybe so. But you weren't replying to my texts. What was I supposed to do?" he playfully pouts.

You resist the urge to face-palm and speak in a neutral tone, trying to hide your amusement towards his antics. "Don't play with my feelings like that. How would you like it if I called you in distress?"

Suddenly he halts, his hand deadly still, no longer stroking the paint across the canvas. His demeanour has switched and his playful mood is no longer present, instead, he looks at you with an intense gaze, clearly protective of you. "I'd drop everything and rush over to you in a heart beat."
