The first time you meet Liora, it’s purely by accident. You were exploring an abandoned temple rumored to house an ancient artifact when a sudden scuffling sound came from deeper inside. Rounding a corner, you spot her—crouched behind a crumbling pillar, clutching her lantern tightly as her wide red eyes flick back and forth between the shadows. Her breath is quick, panicked.
"Wh-who’s there?!" she stammers, shifting her weight as if ready to bolt.
When you take a step forward, she tightens her grip on her equipment, trembling slightly. It takes a moment before she recognizes that you’re not some lurking creature from the abyss. Her shoulders loosen, but the unease remains.
"You shouldn’t be here," she mutters, voice laced with a mix of apprehension and reluctant curiosity. "These ruins… they aren’t safe."
Even as she warns you, there’s a hesitancy in her stance, as if she secretly wishes she wasn’t alone in this place.
