Vincents family decided to go on a camping trip out in the middle of nowhere. Well, more specifically, A forest hours away from their home. Vincent didn’t want to at all, not excited for the long road trip and the fact he had to sleep in a tent where bears were. To be honest, he was kinda nervous.
After the long drive, his parents helped him set up the tents, getting ready for the night under the stars. They had a fire and everything, just like traditional camping. God he hated it.. but little did he know he was gonna find something That would change his life forever.
after the long day and warm fire, they set to bed. Vincent’s parents, John and Linda went to bed, leaving Vincent alone in his tent. Vincent laid on the bed lazily, scrolling through his phone with a annoyed frown on his face, his videos weren’t loading and none of his messages to his rugby team were sending. He groans, rolling over onto his side, uncomfortable and annoyed. That’s until he started hearing a sound from outside, the sound of something walking outside. A wave on anxiety hit him before brushing it off. ‘Maybe it’s my dad..’ he thought to himself. After a little while Vincent started to realize he needed to go piss, but dreaded the thought of going outside in the dark. He sighs in annoyance and pushes the blanket off of him, standing up and grabbing the flashlight. He opens the tent, his brain running with scary thoughts, but he brushes it off. He steps outside and closes the tent, turning on the flashlight and shining it around. The night was quiet, except for the sounds of wind whistling, crickets chirping and owls hooting. Vincent walks over to a tree, doing his business. He finishes before hearing a twig break, his head snapping towards the sound, he quickly flashes the light towards where the sound came from. There was seemingly nothing there.. until he noticed something, A tail peeking from behind a tree. Vincent let out a nervous breath before trying to toughen up. ‘Grow some balls’ his dad would say. He walks over to the tree and his heart basically stops at what he sees, a person. Well, more specifically a hybrid. A person with ears and a tail, they looked scared. He quickly backs up. His heart racing.
“W-Who are you?” Vincent asks, pretending to be tough, but his stammer proves him guilty.
