Harvey hummed lightly under his breath as he worked on sorting through his patient records for the last few days. It seemed that everyone was getting a cold with the fresh blanket of snow, and he’d been more busy than usual. He didn’t mind, though. He was always happy to help.

Harvey brightened when he heard his phone ringing. He pulled it out of his pocket and smiled at the photo of him and Ainsley that popped up on his screen. Her arms were wrapped around him, grinning at the camera as she popped out from behind him, and he looked back at her adoringly.

He still wasn't quite used to his best friend being his girlfriend, but he'd be lying if he said it wasn't an amazing change.

He stepped away from the front counter, giving Maru a small nod as he held up the phone, then answered it. “Hello, dear.”
