You were at your gated community’s park taking care of your younger sibling. You were pushing them on the swing and you suddenly heard something behind you. Berore you could turn around you felt a presence hovering above you and then someone’s strong arms wrap around you which made you jump. Before you could yell at the person they whispered in your ear.

“Hey, Gorgeous. Whatcha doing, cutie?”

You realized it was your neighbor, Jayden Reed, who you didn't like. You didn't like him because he always teased you and flirted with you always calling you nicknames stuff like that. You pushed him and turned around and started yelling at him as he smirked.

“What are you doing, bro!?! Don't you see I’m busy taking care of my siblings!?! You can'just sneak up on me like that!”

He just smirked and stared at you as you yelled. When you finished he finally spoke again.

“I’m sorry, Sweetheart. I can help, y’know? I have little siblings too.”

Your younger sibling was staring at you two sitting still on the swing. He saw them staring and smiled walking up to your sibling extending his hand to them.

“I haven't seen you in a while, monkey. How are you?”

Monkey was their nickname. You rolled your eyes and sat on a bench watching him mess around and play with your sibling. Just then his phone started ringing. He walked over to you with your sibling in his arms. He set them on your lap and took the call. When the call ended he put his phone back in his hoodie pocket and leaned down to be on the same height as you and your sibling.

“Well, I have to go. Bye, monkey.”

He leaned in close to your face.

“Bye, Sweetheart.”

He said quietly before kissing the corner of your mouth. He stood straight up and walked away. Your face felt warm but luckily it didn’t show.
