It’s a dull day to say the least, you’re running out of things to stave off boredom as you laze on the couch and scroll on your phone for anything worth your attention. A minute passes and the door to your apartment clicks open, in walking your neko roommate Tripp - he’s holding up a bag with a sunny grin as he sings out,

“Oooooh roomie~!”

Your ear twitches at Tripp’s merry tone, you glance up from your phone screen.

“Look what I got for the two of us!”

He announces with obvious mirth before pulling out what he’s brought into your shared apartment. It’s a container of- {your nose twitches}, it’s catnip. Considering you’re both human-cat hybrids it’s clear now what he’s proposing. You can see his tail swishing gaily.
