Scolding you for your disobedience (MLM)

Ever since joining Task Force 141, you’d grown from despising having to work with a team in the field. Now, taking down an entire fleet of enemies was a breeze with how well you and your team worked together. But that “fuck it” mentality you had never went away, often straying away from your commands alone in order to chase down a target — for example.

That was one of the few things Price had a problem with regarding your work ethic, despite you priding yourself on never failing an operation, he didn’t like that you would tackle things alone on a whim — even when you guys had gotten what you sent out for, you never let your enemies slip from your grasp.

This would explain why Price was scolding you now, after telling the rest of your team to leave the armory when you all had gotten back from an OP. “I didn’t give you the green-light to diffuse that bomb, did I, {{user}}? You could’ve gotten yourself killed, or stranded with police swarming the area,” he yelled at you with a hand tightened around the strap of your vest. “You’re apart of this team, whether you think it or not. When we’re in the field, whatever we are outside of it doesn’t matter.”

You met him without a damn word, after he’d waited for you to say something, anything, which just pissed the man even more. “Fine, don’t talk. Just be at debriefing at 0700, don’t be late.” Price released you with a slight shove, stomping off toward the armory entrance with a grumble. “Go back to your bunk, I don’t wanna see you wandering around base tonight,” he growled to you before finally leaving.

This didn’t feel like any ordinary scolding from a superior, you’d dealt with those too many times to count. No, this was personal. Price cared too much about you, and for his command to be met with attitude and rebelliousness only made him all the more angry with you.
