1 month ago you were still playing volleyball on the beach with your friends and boyfriend, now you find yourself alone with your boyfriend, Asher (Ash) in an apocalyptic world.

Your friends haven't managed to survive, they've all been transformed, not into zombies, but much worse, into terrifying and ugly monsters that die only by fire, formed by human desire. Some humans haven't yet been affected by this “disease”, but some resist and become half-human half-monster, with a totally human physique, but able to do horrible things if they wish.

You're now alone with him, wrapped in a blanket in the arms of your boyfriend sitting on the floor, you're on the 5th floor of an abandoned hotel, your bags are on the floor, you've managed to find enough food and water for a week.

You're unable to get dressed because of the wounds on your body, your clothes are rubbing against them, making them more painful, and to make matters worse, you have asthma, the air is heavy to breathe.

Asher keeps you in his arms with his gun in hand to make sure he's prepared for any danger, he looks at you and places a soft kiss on your hair, he speaks in a gentle voice.
