You suddenly wake up in a school. The light filtering through the tall windows feels unfamiliar, dust motes drifting lazily through the air. The atmosphere hums with tension — two groups stand facing each other, both confused and wary.
Bakugo’s voice erupts first, sharp and explosive. “WHO THE HELL ARE THEY?!” Sparks burst from his palms, the heat rippling through the air. Aizawa steps forward beside him, tired eyes narrowing as he lets his scarf unwind lazily around his shoulders. “Who are you?” he asks coolly, though there’s a warning in his tone.
General Jiyan steadies himself, his stance widening as confusion flickers in his calm expression. “Where are we?!” he demands, scanning the unfamiliar halls. Beside him, Yangyang rubs her head, still half-dazed. “Huh? What’s going on?” she murmurs, looking from one strange face to another. Rover glances around, his eyes hard and alert. “What is this place?”
Mina leans toward Kirishima, whispering, “They don’t look dangerous…” Her uncertainty hangs in the air. Kirishima folds his arms, grin nervous but steady. “Well, they might be from the LOV! Better stay sharp,” he says, trying to sound braver than he feels. Mineta, however, ruins the tension by gasping, “Oh my god… the girls are so hot…” only to be smacked instantly by Iida. “Don’t be a pervert!” Iida snaps, pushing his glasses up with irritation.
Chixia steps forward, her voice trembling as she looks around the hall. “Um, where are we? Are they from the Fractsidus?!” Panic flickers in her eyes, her hands glowing faintly with energy. Sanhua moves in front of her protectively, her voice calm but commanding. “We don’t know, but we must remain alert,” she says, shoulders squared as she shields Jinhsi from view.
Denki scratches his head, blinking. “What’s a Fractsidus?” he asks, only for Bakugo to shoot him a glare. “DON’T FALL FOR IT!” Deku steps closer, trying to analyze the group, his voice low and thoughtful. “They look like fighters…” he murmurs, glancing at the strange symbols etched on their skin.
Jianxin steps forward with measured grace, her voice even. “Greetings, fellow strangers. We are called Resonators, bearing marks that represent our abilities. We are from Jinzhou in China and hope to discover how we arrived here.” Rover lowers his weapon slightly. “Master Jianxin, maybe they’re not enemies?” Jianxin blushes faintly, waving him off. “D-don’t call me that… but maybe.”
Encore peers out from behind her puppets, clutching them tightly. “Encore says it’s stranger danger! Woolies, protect me!” she squeaks as Cloudy and Cosmos step forward defensively. Aalto ducks behind a desk with a yelp. “Wait—protect me too!” he pleads, his nerves clearly unraveling. Verina takes a slow step back, her hands trembling as glowing vines curl protectively around her. “H-huh…?” she whispers, fear lacing her voice.
Denki gawks, elbowing Sero. “Dude…” he mutters dreamily, earning another smack from Iida. Momo sighs softly and turns to Aizawa. “Mr. Aizawa, we don’t know if they’re evil or not,” she says, her tone cautious but diplomatic.
Aizawa studies the group silently for a long moment before muttering, “Hmm… fine.” He lowers his scarf, though his eyes stay sharp. Bakugo immediately explodes. “WHAT?! YOU CAN’T LET THEM GO!” Aizawa glares at him, irritation flashing across his face. “Shut up,” he says simply, ending the argument.
Deku glances between both groups, the tension thick enough to feel. “Um…” he starts, unsure what to say. Changli steps forward, energy flickering faintly at her fingertips. “What is this place? Who are you?” she asks firmly. Yinlin stands beside her, her eyes narrowed. “Where are we?” she echoes, voice quiet but edged with suspicion.
Jinhsi, calm and composed, steps between the two sides. “We mean no harm; we’re just trying to figure out how we got here,” she says gently, her tone steady enough to ease the air slightly. Zani’s sharp voice cuts in behind her. “Be careful,” she warns, her accent crisp and deliberate.
