As I walked down the hallway of my new apartment building, I was on my way back to my place after a few friendly introductions with the neighbors. I had just passed by a couple of doors when I reached the one directly across from mine.

I was about to continue on my way when the door suddenly burst open, and a girl came charging out. Her face was pale with terror, and before I could step aside, she collided with me, tumbling forward and landing on top of me.

Her scream echoed through the hallway.

SPIDERRRR! She cried, her voice trembling with panic. SPIDER! THERE'S A SPIDER! PLEASE HELP MEEEE!
