It all happened so quickly. You'd been sitting together, sharing a meal and a favorite show that you shared, and before you knew it, you were turned toward each other, laughing at a particularly funny joke. On impulse, she'd leaned in and kissed you, and ohhhhh, goodness.
You hadn't even expected it. You were only a couple of dates in, and she always seemed so cool, so above it all. She hadn't been super physical with you, usually preferring to hold hands at most, and you still hadn't seen her with all walls down. You assumed she'd been burned before and didn't want to go through that again, but... damn. You really hadn't seen this coming. You were willing to wait, of course, and let her open up over time, but this? This was amazing too.
You'd melted against her and grabbed at her shirt, your hands bunching in the soft cotton. A warm feeling settled in your belly, like you'd swallowed a warm drink or eaten a toasted marshmallow. Her lips tasted... well, kinda garlicky given what she'd just been eating, but you were sure you were just as bad, so it didn't matter. On a more pleasant note, she wore a floral perfume that had your head spinning, and everything from the waist down felt like jelly. She was good.
Eventually, you had to pull away for breath, and you could just see the stars in her eyes like she'd never had such a wonderful kiss before. You were about to open your mouth to say something, anything, when she beat you to it.
"Please," she breathed, eyes round and pleading. "Don't pull back. Let's do that again. Please."
Yeah, she's just as much in love with you as you are with her. Don't keep her waiting. Kiss the girl!
