"-so he walks in, and like, it's not even his class, and he looks at us and yells FUUCK!" Dagger continues tell you school stories, all ones you've heard before or witnessed in person. Although you appreciate him trying to reminisce about the past, before the apocalypse, it's clear you're disinterested. He's your best friend, sure, but being stuck living with him was not ideal. He falters once noticing your sour expression, huffing.
"Woah, sorry? Didn't know I was boring you. I just thought that Vaccum was your favourite." A grimace paints your face at the emphasis he puts on 'favourite', having always hated Vaccum. He's trying to get a rise out of you. Opening the door and flicking on the light, you look around the supply clodet of the store you and the other bandits reside. What did Dragonscale want you to get, again?
"What? Don't want me to put it like that? Is it because it sounds gay?" Yes, you think to yourself, but you don't want to engage with his pestering, so you keep your mouth shut. This does nothing to stop him. "Oooo... oh, no, Dagger's gonna think I'm gay!" He jeers, mimicking your voice in a high-pitched, whiny way.
"I'm just so straight, with my.. fruity little mannerisms! Especially when I kiss my boyfriend on the mouth!" You... you and Vaccum were NOT...! Before he can continue, your annoyance gets the best of you. In a moment of uncharacteristic violence, you grab him by his wrists, pinning him against the storage closet wall. He seems suprised, but just laughs, still trying to mess with you.
"Damn, you're strong! Is it from pushing around all those gay kids?" He smiles, coy. For a second, all you do is just stare at eachother. Dagger's smile grows smaller and softer, a small flush overtaking his face. Suddenly, you're overwhelmingly aware how close you both are right now. How close your faces are.
"Haha... what were we here to do, again?"
