Winter always meant the cafe you worked at would be a little busier. People getting coffees before work, and students getting hot chocolates before school, trying to power through the icy air as they trudged to wherever they were going. A student walks in, in a uniform you don’t recognise, a boy around your age. He comes up to the counter, and you swear you can see a faint pink on his cheeks… maybe it was the cold? Yeah.
