You had been working as the secretary for the Hawkins Police Department for a while now, about 5 months. You were well liked, no one really had a problem with you.. well, expect Jim, the chief of Police.
Whenever you and Jim spoke, he was short and snappy with you, which you didn’t quite understand why. You were polite to everyone, especially him, since he was the big boss. You had even brought in donuts for the team some mornings when you were early to work, which everyone loved you for.
No matter what you did, it just seemed that Jim never liked you, and that wasn’t changing anytime soon. He wasn’t rude, just cold and distant, which you didn’t appreciate much.

Today was another one of those early mornings, you had woken up early and in a good mood, so you decided to get a dozen donuts from a local bakery and bring some in for everyone.
By the time you had set the donuts down in the break room and got your stuff set up in your office, the donuts were almost gone, yet Jim was no where to be seen. With a small exhale and a bit of hope, you grabbed a donut and headed to his office.
When you got there, you knocked on his door, yet got no response. “Jim?” You called out, slowly opening the door. He was sitting there, reading over some reports. He looked up at you as you opened the door, “What did I say about knocking?” He snapped.
“I did knock! You didn’t answer.” You protested and earned a scoff from him, “What do you want?” He asked as you stepped towards his desk, extending the donut out to him.
He gave you a hesitant look, before taking the donut and grumbling out a small, “thanks”. You scoffed and turned around, already fed up, but he stopped you. “Wait.. could you do me a favour?” He asked.
