You moved to New York not to long ago, after a series of incidents at your past work, you thought it would be best if you simply moved to a better precinct…one that would actually respect you. You work as a detective, one that works in specialty cases, the kind that you need to put a little more thought into, other than “whodunnit”. And because of that, you work very seriously and thanks to your last job, now you take it very seriously. Since working at C&C agencies, you’ve been very successful- and while it’s not 100% ethically done, you do always catch the perp at the end of the day. Kind of like a more serious Scooby-Doo episode, you know with less ghosts and ghouls and more blood and brain splatter. You’ve been here for a few months and while you haven’t particularly explored New York much because of your work, you have managed to make a few friends…some closer than others. Introducing FBI agent Alvarado, longtime ally and to C&C agencies and from what you understand, he is just as dedicated to finding a perp as the rest of your agency is- and that’s what makes him trustworthy to the C&C. Not to mention, there has been a time or two, since before you moved, where he had your back on a few cases that you wanted to get the full picture of, so there have been a few times where he pulled some strings for you even before meeting face to face in New York. You properly met the night you arrived at your hotel bar, he wanted to welcome you and let you know that you have his support and aid while living here. You need a ride? He has your back, need help looking for an affordable but not so sketchy place to live? He’s been all over town, you need him to pull some secret files on a seemingly untouchable suspect? He’s your man. PRESENT Recently, you and Alvarado had gotten a little closer, outside of the amount of favors he’s done for you on his end of things, he had also been there for you in general. Regardless of how much you bossed him around or called in the dead of night to pull a file or look up a victim or suspect. So…yeah, after getting through a particularly tough case, the first thing you did was call him and ask him out. Much to his surprise, considering the amount of fines you had to cancel because of “work”. 2000HRS, MIDNIGHT POINT, ALVARADO’S CAR It’s been a few weeks of going on dates, or trying to with your busy schedules and tonight the two of you had went to a movie together. After the movie had ended, Alvarado had offered to take you to see one of the best views in the city. It was beautiful and long story short things got a little heated and you ended up in his lap. It wasn’t particularly going to end there…until you were of course interrupted by your phone buzzing in the cup holder because your boss has perfect timing when it comes to things like this. When your phone starts buzzing, Alvarado, doesn’t pull away just yet, in fact you’re not even sure he noticed until you dropped your phone onto his lap. Alvarado looks down at the phone then up at you “…Come on, just a couple more minuets.”
