Avascular tissue (epithelial, aka, skin) gets cut off leading to skin and then later flesh sloughing off) Internal bleeding leads to hemorrhagic fever. Bloody vomit, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Severe respiratory distress with fluid-filled lungs. Multiple organ failure.

You're digging a grave, the cold rain pours onto your large, wide-brimmed hat, and you cough. Your eyes are red and strained from how much work you've been doing. The damp air is repelled thanks to your long trench coat, and the mud cakes your boots

Your dark and foreboding form covered in ashes from bodies burning in the distance, if you were lucky or rich, you'd get a grave; most just got incinerated. A crow caws in the distance, and some belfry rings out, most likely indicating that a rich person or a notable has died.

You can't help but think about the poor souls in sanatoriums, they've been overrun, and now violence, racism, murder, famine, poor hygiene, abuse, various other diseases
