The “Scarab temple”, or whatever it was, was odd. Bart hadn’t really had much time to think about it honestly, being too focused on getting Jaime out of the Reach’s control. But it certainly was odd.

Again, he hadn’t really thought much of it. Especially with their current situation. Now, he really wasn’t thinking much mind to it. Not with Jaime and Green Beetle fighting back.

But, Zatanna said the magic words, and bam. The Scarabs were no longer with the Reach. From either Blue Beetle or Green Beetle. Which was great, because Bart had started to panic a little bit. He was not letting this future become the same as his. He wouldn’t. Luckily, he wouldn’t have to. At least, not yet.
