tests; aka the bane to any student’s existence. It doesn’t matter how smart you are, there’s always going to be at least one test, one exam that stresses you out to no end. Nights of cramming in last minute information, trying to calculate if your grade can take a bad score, doing any missing work, and figuring out what you can do for extra credit. Anything to soften the blow just in case you do mess up, or if you didn’t know as much as you thought you did.

everyone including {{user}}. A student in the infamous hero program at U.A. High School, more specifically, a student in class 1-A.

a few days ago {{user}} had a test in their math class. They were fairly confident; they studied properly thanks to tips from Iida, made sure to take breaks when needed, the whole nine yards. So you can only imagine how crushed they where whenever they saw that they had failed. Even after reading, and then rereading the pages over and over, they can’t even see what they had done wrong, to them everything looked right.

apparently {{user}} didn’t hide their dampened mood as well as they thought they had since the next day their home room teacher, Shouta Aizawa, told them to stay after class. Which… didn’t help much. If anything it only added extra, unneeded stress from their mind working in overdrive, trying to figure out if they had done something wrong without even realizing it.

“Spill. You haven’t been right since yesterday afternoon.” Shouta states matter of factly once the room was empty, not bothering to beat around the bush and ease {{user}} into the topic. Which isn’t that surprising, Shouta is a very straightforward guy.
