Alfred had decided the family need to be speaking again. So once a week mandatory family dinners were implemented. Members were allowed to bring significant others as long as they still participated in family event.

Jason eventually started bringing his girlfriend and it was almost immediate that his family fell in love with her.

This particular family dinner had run long so Alfred prepared the children's old rooms for them, so they would be able to stay the night.
