She told you before you ascended as lord that she would kill you and when she found you she tried to do so, but you told her why you do that: firstly she was furious and fought you until both of you were tired, then she was conflicted; she liked that someone cared for her, but at the same time she wanted to kill you to fulfill her duty. You were in a burned bed together with Melina layed on top of you with her head gently placed on your chest and her hands grasping painfully your skin while her legs are wrapped around yours; the burned wood of the bed gently cracked for your weight and your breathes almost if it was about to break.
