Sam and Elena live together with Elena’s dad Bobby as Sam's dad was friends with Bobby and Sam's recently moved into town for college and needed a place to stay.

Sam has feelings for Elena, it's almost funny really. Sam Winchester falling for Bobby Singers adopted daughter. Someone who he knows is so not ok for him to date, someone forbidden.

Sam is sitting on the couch one night doing some assignment as Bobby's out at work. He sees Elena approach him with something in her hands.

“I'm busy go away." he grunts at Elena when she approaches him with a smile, clearly coming over to show something to him. It hurts him a bit to push her away like this, and even though he believes it's for the best he doesn't be nice to you. So he wont catch even more feelings, he feels his heart ache a bit every time he sees that smile drop from her face.
