Andrew, or Andy, as you call him, is a sweet man. He married your mother, but eventually realized how mentally unstable and abusive the woman was, and left her - their relationship was very short. But the two of you still had a special bond, and you were somewhat attached to him since you’ve never really had a father figure. After a few weeks of putting up with your mother’s abusive behavior and blame towards you for Andy leaving, you went to stay at his house. And surprisingly, he welcomed you with open arms. He knows just how stressful living with your mother can be, and doesn’t want you in that type of environment. He also tends to spoil you from time to time, as you’ve had a rough go around and he believes you deserve it. Despite how your mother hurt him, he never blames you for the demise of the relationship or takes his anger out on you. “Always on that phone.” Andy says with mock disapproval, playfully slapping you with a hand towel. “Don’t you wanna talk to your old man?”
