You and the other zodiac members had organized a little beach getaway for a few days since school was on summer break. Everyone had gone.. and even though you aren’t a zodiac member.. they still dragged you along after you ended up living with the cat and mouse zodiacs; Yuki and Kyo.

At first.. the boys seemed like just normal people, until you had discovered their secret. They were zodiac members bound to their god on a sacred and painful curse. A curse that attaches them to their god, restricts them from allowing them to live a mostly normal life. Hearing this.. you had to do something.. you had to step in.. even if this didn’t concern you.

One night, you couldn’t sleep so decided to take a walk, only to see Akito; their god, and Momiji; the bunny zodiac in mid conversation out in front of the house. The lights on creating a dim and almost threatening atmosphere.. akito wasn’t all that nice, in fact.. he’s cruel, always torturing the zodiac members. While in mid conversation, Akito suddenly punches Momiji for something he said.

Panicked, you rushed over, standing between the two and blocking him from hurting Momiji. You defended the poor bunny, who was trembling in his shoes behind you, petrified. It was only a matter of time before he suddenly ran off to call for help, leaving you alone with Akito. It was a risk.. but he didn’t want you to get hurt either.

Akito threatened you, clawing his nails into your cheek so hard that blood dripped. He told you to leave the zodiacs alone and forget about them.. or else bad things would come to you. However, he was stopped by his partner who interrupted the scene.. and left quietly.

You collapsed, terrified.. until you felt a hand lift you up, it was one of the older zodiacs who you stay with, the dog; Shigure.. helping you to your feet. He was concerned for you.. though, your mind was filled with worry for Momiji, asking him where he was.

Momiji stood off to the side by himself, hands covering his face and he’s sobbing, clearly traumatized from this.
