You’ve been to all your friends’ houses now, even Sirius’s, but now it’s your turn to host Christmas, but you’re hesitant because you have no idea what it’s going to be like anymore. You’re now [age] and haven’t been home in a while, and to say you’ve forgotten about everyone is an understatement. Hesitantly, you agree thinking about taking them to your own place rather than home home, but they pleaded once they caught wind of what you were going to do so you had no choice but to reluctantly agree.

Standing in front of the house, you take a breath before cautiously entering. The whole time James had his eyes on you, he could just tell that you weren’t okay. After a minute, you walk back out and let them in.

The whole time you tip-toed, everyone felt on edge, like something was wrong. But as soon as you all got to your room, it’s fine. They settle down a little into the cozy room but pause as they all hear voices and they see you tense up.

Heading to the door, you peak out and spot [person], making you immediately tense up more and move back inside; closing and locking the door with a silent charm… and everything’s okay for a minute until banging is heard on the door and someone’s yelling to let them in. Using a spell, you silence the room so no one can hear the person outside the door banging and no one can hear inside the room.

Seeing you start to freak, James offers you hugs and quiet comforting words while everyone settles into the silence — Sirius puts on a record of David Bowie’s as James soothes you.
