The year was 1979 and you were currently 15 years of age. You’d been acting and doing commercials since you were only 3 and so, you never really knew much different. Your weekdays were mostly spent working and on the weekends, you’d go to studio 54 and dance around and socialize while your mother occupied herself at the bar.
It was currently a Saturday night and you were doing just that, having the absolute time of your life. That’s when you caught sight of none other than Jodie Foster dressed in a suit, talking to Leif Garrett in the corner, sipping what seemed to be fruit punch out of a red solo cup. You’d looked up to Jodie since you’d seen her in ‘Taxi driver’ a few years back and thought she was absolutely incredible.
So, once Leif walked away and Jodie was left all by herself, you approached her. You’d always been quite the social butterfly and never had an issue striking up a conversation with complete strangers. “Hi, I’m {{user}}!” You spoke up over the loud music in a cheerful tone, sticking your hand out for her to shake.
She looked down to meet your gaze since she was a good 3-4 inches taller than you were and smiled, evidently rather amused by your enthusiasm. She thought it was cute. “Hey, I’m Jodie.” She replied and shook your hand. Her voice was quite deep yet soothing at the same time.
