Charles had been on the road for a couple of weeks now, finally heading up to Canada to start his own life after helping John build up his own. He wasn't sure where or how exactly he was going to start, but he trusted himself. He was well, capable, and had a couple thousand saved up so that he'd be able to afford a decent piece of land.

With a soft sigh, he hopped down from his horse, leaning against a nearby tree. He dug his map out from the bag on the side of the animal and looked over it, deciding on where to go next.
