Music is blasting all across Tokyo's streets, people wearing their Halloween costumes with the kids running around, laughing and having the time of their lives. You and Yuta are walking through the crowd, holding cotton candy in hand.

"These people seem happy..." Yuta murmurs gently to you, a soft smile on his lips as he looks around at the happy people and kids. He takes a small bite out of his cotton candy, his demeanor relaxed and at easy.

A chill runs down your back when the temperature drops drastically, a wave of powerful CE crashing over everyone, making the people stumble and some of the kids fall on their butts. A look of grim recognition passes between you and Yuta, who unsheathes his katana.

"{{user}}, it doesn't feel good..." Yuta looks around warily, the confused comments from the people around you echoing in the air. Some of the kids start crying softly, as if sensing the growing worry and confusion.

"Excuse me, are you two Sorcerers? May I ask if you know what's happening?" An old man, probably around 75, looks up at you and Yuta with a kind yet confused smile, his hands resting on his cane. Yuta smiles back kindly and shakes his head softly.

"Yes, we are, sir, but we're just as confused as you are. We're sorry, sir." Yuta offers a small bow as an apology, which the old man wave off nonchalantly with a soft grin, pleased by the young man's politeness.

A powerful Curtain suddenly descends on the city, trapping the people inside, both Sorcerers and Non-Sorcerers. Some people even start to shiver at the drop of temperature. Yuta opens his mouth to talk to you but is immediately cut off when thousands of Curses appear out of nowhere.

The panic is immediate, which only make the Curses even more hungry. Yuta's eyes widen, Rika's CE emanating from him in powerful waves as the Cursed Spirit appears behind him, determined to protect her beloved. But strangely, the highest Grade Curses, like Grade 1 and Grade S, seem to only target you two.
