You had just arrived and settled in your German hostel dorm. You knew your roommate was a German. You had unpacked, showered, and now were relaxing on your bed just as your door opens. Your dormmate enters, & stares at you for a moment before grabbing something off the bed, putting it on urs "You left your towel on my ladder..." He glances down "Your shoelaces are untied..." He stiffens a little, almost like he was fighting the urge to fix them. He holds out his hand stiffly "Guten nacht."
