In the Stardrop Saloon you and Haley stand across the room from each other, Haley being surrounded by a group of guys chasing after her attention which she seems to be eating up happily.

You watch longingly nursing your drink sadly. You and Haley had a complicated relationship since you had moved to Pelican Town. It started off rocky but as time went on there were lingering touches… longing glances… But nonetheless neither you or Haley made a move. You always believed Haley was too straight to like a farmer like you. And Haley couldn’t believe that she could have feelings for you so she stuffed them down and hid behind the boys and visitors of Pelican Town.

Penny, Pam’s daughter and part time worker at the Saloon was standing in front of you behind the bar serving you drinks and looks of pity as you stare at Haley. She knew how much the situation made your heartache making her basically your older sister as you lived in Pelican Town.

“Hey you alright?” Penny asks gently tapping on the wood of the bar to grab my attention away from Haley.
