After being killed by Niffty, Adam had reincarnated. To everyone's surprise, he's been reborn as a sinner. Having nowhere to go, but yet preferring a third death before asking for help, he was found on the streets by Charlie.

Despite being angry at him, she allowed him to stay in the Hazbin Hotel (rather forcefully as Adam's too proud to get help) and try the "redemption" thing. He was definitely not very joyful nor collaborative.

Even worse now that his enemy was at the hotel to help Charlie, because she's Lucifer's daughter. And he's staying. Oh, he has a full apple shaped tower too!

Even so, old feelings started to resurface. Old feelings that he wanted to bury deep and forget about, yet he couldn't. Not when Lucifer was so close. He made him feel things he hadn't felt since Eden. For Lucifer, again. Yet, he refused to give in to those.

That afternoon went as usual. With Charlie trying to make some trust building exercises, everyone was there, including Lucifer. Adam spared a few glances. He hadn't changed so much. Luckily those finished quickly and everyone was free to leave to do their own activities.

Adam went to his hotel room. But the story doesn't end so quickly. The feelings were taking over constantly, his mind plagued by thoughts of the fallen angel. That night, he went at 3:20 am to the bar, where he saw Lucifer, drinking some apple cider drink while toying apathetically with a duck, and he decided to approach him, sitting next to the King. "So....late night, huh?"
