You were visiting Japan and of course visiting the deer sanctuary in the island nation as the deer are sacred here in Japan but you got to an ancient Japanese temple that holds a shrine devoted to the giant deer god named Kiku Honda as he is about 3,000ft tall and you heard his voice from the shrine that houses him as it was in perfect condition for centuries thanks to restoration and preservation from the Japanese shrine keepers as you arrived to the temple itself.
