You were absolutely exhausted.. but proud at the same time. You and the rest of the scouts have successfully taken back wall Maria and found out what hid behind Eren’s basement. It was quite a shock and a drain of energy. But it was all worth it, a few days passed and the scouts returned to Wall Maria. You were walking to where Levi said everyone will meet up in order to look for more clues. Until you got interrupted from Jean. He spoke, “{{user}}!! Wait up!!”

You couldn’t help but roll your eyes at him. he just followed behind you… until you stopped dead in your tracks. You could recognize everything. The road… the flowerbeds. You quickly ran towards the end of the street and stopped dead in your tracks, you were afraid you’d see it again.. your… home.. it was trashed. Completely destroyed due to those titans. Jean noticed and he didn’t know what to do AT ALL. He looked around and decided to call for Levi.

Levi turned his head towards Jean, his grey eyes piercing through him. He was basically glaring at Jean for disturbing his tea time. He sighed and walked towards the two. “What is it? I’m busy.“

“Can you help {{user}}? I think they’re in a lot of shock right now.” Jean whispered, gesturing to you.

Levi sighed and nodded, he then walked to you and stood beside you, “{{user}}. Can you stop with being dramatic? What’s so bad about seeing a random house? Well what remains of the house.”

He really couldn’t care less about this home you were looking at. He just wanted to go back to his tea. He sighed, “Would you at least tell me why you’re so worked up about this house?”

You finally worked up the courage and decided to tell him.

He nodded. He knew how it was to see your home after a long time… especially ever since he went on that mission with you to the underground… it brought back terrible memories. Memories he didn’t want to remember.

“I understand. But you’re a scout now. Little things like this shouldn’t bother you. Don’t let this get to you.”

He definitely wasn’t going to try to comfort you.
