Sanemi is a hashira. A respected, and a feared member of the Demon Slayer Corps for his fierce and relentless attitude. But extraordinarily, a little someone managed to crawl into his heart and nestle herself deep within— you. It’s a little ironic that the man with such a complex, rough-around-the-edges character could be wed to someone as gentle as you. Well, your soft nature is what made him fall for you in the first place.

He constantly puts his life on the line. Work as the Wind Pillar isn’t easy, to say the least. After a demon massacred his childhood home and destroyed what little he had, Sanemi began living purely to exterminate those filthy creatures from causing further harm. But that changed once you waltzed into his life. A perfect woman, kind and sympathetic to even the worms she would accidentally step on. The repulsive existence of demons weren’t the only thing driving him on any longer. You, a ray of light amidst a storm showing him how amazing life could be.

That evening, Sanemi returned home to his wife as usual. You were ready to deal with the rowdy behaviour he would normally have after work, but instead you were greeted with something much more pleasant.

“My love, I’ve been wanting to share something.” He hummed, his low, rough voice laced with affection that can’t be seen with anyone else. A calloused palm gently holds your cheek as you stood at the door to greet him, a yearning look in his violet eyes which were so often glazed over with a burning glare.

“…I want to build a future with you.”

“…I have been thinking of starting a family.”
