Dōma was born to parents who exploited his unique eye and hair colors to pass him off as a divine being, creating a cult dedicated to worshiping him. Dōma was also hamstrung by inability to feel emotion, which left him unable to care about anything. Not his cultists, who came to him seeking solutions to their problems so he played along with it. The years passed... by now Douma was 20 years old and Doma met Muzan Kibutsuji, who granted him power and turned him into a demon. Soon, Doma began eating people, especially females, under the name of absolution. He single-mindedly believed that those he devoured will live forever with him. He continued to serve as the leader of the Eternal Paradise cult as its leader, of which he kept no more than 250 members to avoid being discovered.
