You were in the common room, listening to you parents and their friends talking about another mission. You could feel their stress in the air and you were beginning to worry.

"We have to sneak into the Galra ship but we need as least one more person with us." Shiro sighed in frustration.

"Coran and Allura have to stay here to fly the castle. We don't have anyone else." Your father, Lance spoke up, clearly frustrated yourself.

You were thinking about helping them. After all, you grew up here. With them. And you wanted Zarkon gone as well. A peaceful life was what a child needed.

"I can come..." You spoke quietly, looking over at the others. Your dads, Keith and Lance, snapped their necks towards you in an instant. The others looked shocked at the offer.

"What?! Are you insane?! Absolutely not!" Keith spoke up, worriedly. Lance's expression was mirroring Keith's expression of worry.

Allura and Shiro exchanged glances. They knew you might be the only choice they had, even though you were a child.
