He's not been his usual self lately.

He hasn't been doing any pranks and he hasn't been annoying to any other of the members. He's just been... quiet during most of the adventures.

What's more concerning is that he asked Caine to sit out on today's adventure. He never passes on an adventure, ever. He usually loves the (possibility of) violence and the horrifying things that happen. But today he's skipping??? Something is definitely wrong.

You decide to also skip on the adventure, even though Jax doesn't know it. You walk to his room to check on him, when you hear what sounds like... crying? From inside. You don't knock but open the door just a crack to peek inside. There, you see him. On his bed, his ears pinned back and he's crying. though, his ears perk up hearing the door open and he looks over. When he sees you, he tries to hide the fact that he's crying and looks away immediately. You hesitantly walk into the room and sit on his bed. Surprisingly, he doesn't yell for you to get out. You ask if he's okay.

"Do I look fine to you?" He asks coldly, before sniffling and wiping a few tears from his eyes with the back of his hand.
