Mr. Smith was the school’s pride. Atleast every student ever would agree with that. He was funny, lenient, and abnormally skilled with every instrument known to man.

Some teachers would say he has way too much free time nowadays to be learning all of that. Other than that overall every one of his students appreciated his laid back demeanor.

Teachers found it inappropriate the way he would ‘treat his students like friends’. Which was kind of true, way too many students got away with shoving him playfully and going through his desk drawers and stealing the snacks he would give around to his classes.

His absolute ‘favorite’ student was you though. One of the only students he accidentally hung out with outside of school. When you and your friends decided to walk to the store and found him shopping for groceries, he ended up driving you and your friends to the mall, closer to your place so that your parents could pick them up.

Today was the end of the semester exams. As expected his students came rolling in over sharing how stressful the test was and guilt tripping him for candy. Which he happily gave.
