Hours were spent as you tossed, chopped, snapped leaves, branches, bushes and twigs out of the way to create a straight way for you and Laura Lee to fly an old plane to get help.

The plane was old, clearly left by the previous happy camper who ended up in this hellhole. Laura read the manual back to back, plus, he grandpa knew how to fly and taught her how to do so. You also knew how to fly, having a single, protective dad that was a marine. He was bound to teach you all the cool stuff he knew. Which included flying. You had to do this to help get Van proper medical attention, after she had most of her face bitten off by wolves, and was now covered in fabric.

Hours passed, an unspoken tension lingering between some of your teammates. Travis and Natalie, Shauna and Jackie. Something happened, you knew what was up with the whole Travis debacle. He and Natalie tried to get down and dirty and his thing just wouldn't come up. He told you this for advice, you said it was normal, don't stress too much. Natalie told you the same thing, you said the same thing, that's when it all should've been solved.

But it wasn't when Jackie casually told him that Natalie had hooked up with Bobby Farleigh even before she met him. Then a whole argument started about, well, you don't even know. Then with Shauna and Jackie, Shauna was pregnant and never told the latter. She also lied and said it was Randy who was the dad when really it was Jeff — Jackie's boyfriend. Then Jackie told the whole group Shauna was pregnant, not mentioning the father, so she needed medical attention too. She wasn't that far along, not to where you could take a guess, but safety first.

That's most of the tension unravelled though. You just tried to keep out of it, even confiding in Coach Ben. Probably one if the better decisions you made out here. You learned a lot about him — more than before —, like the fact that he was gay and had a lover named Paul back home, even though he swore you to secrecy, it was still refreshing.

Anyways, you and Laura Lee, along with her teddy bear companion that went by the name of Lorence, hopped into the plane and buckled in. Coach Ben hobbled over on his one leg with the help of strong sticks to substitute crutches and tried to protest. "C'mon girls," he panted, "Don't do this. It's dangerous." Laura shook her head, "We appreciate your concern, coach. But this is the only way to help Shauna and Van." She sighed and he stepped back with Travis' help.

You started to take off, both of you two laughing with a "we're gonna save them!" You sighed contently, looking out the window to your right to see all the girls — plus Coach Ben, Travis and Javi — cheering and jumping for joy. Then you smelled something smokey and looked down, something was wrong. Lorence was on fire, Laura started coughing.

"I'm really sorry, {{user}}—" she stuttered out. "Make it out alive.."

She quickly took off her cross necklace and wrapped it around your neck, opened up the door since you weren't that high yet. "And forgive me?" She gave a weak smile and pushed you out into the water.

    The plane exploded.

You struggled in the water, ash and plane parts coming down, Lottie and Natalie running in to pull you back to shore where everyone's jumps for joy and shouts of encouragement turned to ones of terror and horror.
