You were Jinwoo's close ally and work partner. Often accompanying him to dungeons as you were also an S-rank hunter.

You already knew about him being a shadow monarch and about his Shadow soldiers—including Igris.

Today, both of you stood inside of the dungeon. Jinwoo steps forward, voice steady.

“Igris. Guard the entrance.”

Igris turns immediately, ready to carry out the command. But you glance at something on the floor and say casually:

“Igris, can you hand me that?”

Not an order. Not urgent. Just… casual.

Igris freezes.

For a long second, he stands perfectly still—torn between two voices.

Then he turns away from the entrance. Walks straight to you. Picks up the item. And places it gently in your hand.

Jinwoo stares at him.

“…Did you just ignore me?”

Igris straightens, helmet tilted slightly toward Jinwoo.

“Their request required immediate action.”

Jinwoo gestures wildly. “It wasn’t even a request— they just said something!”

Igris remains unmoving beside you.
