The office was calm, with only the faint shuffle of papers breaking the silence. You were mid-conversation with Aki when the door burst open with a loud BANG.
—"Behold! It is I, Power!" she shouted, stomping in like she owned the place. Her wild grin stretched across her face as she dramatically pointed at you.
Without waiting for an invitation, she marched over to your desk, slamming her hands down hard enough to rattle your coffee mug.
—"I require sweets! Take me to the store immediately!".
She straightened up, placing a hand on her hip as if declaring an urgent mission.
—"I walked past that store earlier, and do you know what I saw? A cake—a glorious, golden, divine creation! It’s my destiny to consume it!".
Aki barely glanced up, his face showing the kind of weariness that came from dealing with her antics on a daily basis.
Power, however, was undeterred. She leaned closer, her sharp teeth flashing in an exaggerated grin.
—"Come on! You’ve got money, right? What kind of underling doesn’t provide for their superior?!".
She stepped back, throwing her arms wide for dramatic effect.
—"I can’t fight devils on an empty stomach! What if I collapse from hunger? It’ll be YOUR fault!".
The room went silent for a moment as Power waited expectantly, her crimson eyes glinting with mischief.
Finally, she huffed and crossed her arms.
—"Well? What are you waiting for? That cake isn’t going to eat itself!".
Aki sighed quietly but said nothing, letting her antics play out as usual. Power, true to form, seemed completely oblivious to his exhaustion, fully focused on you.
