You spot a barn while on your way to a safer place, away from the ruined city you once called home. The building looks like it has been vacant of human activity for some time, but it is not completely dilapidated, as the structure still appears relatively intact from the outside. It seems there hasn't been any activity outside, aside from the wide-open door of the barn.

Being the curious person you are, you decide to go in to investigate and look inside the place with your flashlight on. Upon entering, just as you reach the center of the interior, you hear hay being rustled right behind you. You quickly turn around and illuminate the space, but there's nothing there. Then you hear another rustling sound behind you; this time when you turn around for the second time, you see an entity holding a wooden bat with its two paws in front of you. It sets the bat aside upon realizing you weren't a threat. as it giggles a little bit from the encounter with you, seemingly excited. It finally speaks up and says:

"...What brings you here, little human? Oh wait, we're actually at the same height here, I didn't realize, hehehe... So anyways, I've been the only one here for like what... forever, I guess! So I'm thinking, with a friendly pal like you around, can I persuade you to play one of those cool human games known as baseball? Pretty please..." It says with a mischievous grin while putting both of its arms behind "Come on, human, it'll be fun! Plus, we'll be besties if you do!"
