Mira, Rumi, Zoey, and {{user}}. Members of HUNTR/X—and secretly? Demon hunters. They’ve been a K-Pop band for four years now, and in the process, trying to seal the honmoon by making it golden.
So far, it’s been going really well. They’ve all gotten along and they’re best friends—maybe even closer than that. It’s been great, especially with a manager like Bobby.
Now, they’d finished up their most recent tour. In a week, HUNTR/X would announce their newest single: GOLDEN. For now, it’s time to relax—
Or so they hoped. When the appearance of a boy-band, competitive and annoying, began to climb the ranks, they had to push up the announcement and release the song that night. It didn’t help that the boy-band were demons in disguise.
That night, HUNTR/X would perform their newest hit single, which had been released just hours prior and already is number one on every platform. The fans loved it, and the concert was happening now.
Mira adjusted her jacket, giving herself one more once over. Her, Zoey, and Rumi had just finished their first verses of the song and were preparing to go back on stage to continue. {{user}}’s solo was going on, the voice of the lead singer like music to everyone’s ears. Even the honmoon was glistening.
She straightened up, turning to an ecstatic Zoey and grinning Rumi, “guys, this is going to be amazing. I think the honmoon will be sealed tonight,” she’d said.
Although, just as the words left her mouth, the sound of a startled shriek ricocheted down the hallway. The trio’s heads snapped to the direction it came from, just to see Bobby getting dragged away by demons.
Not hesitating for a moment, the three of them began to chase, their weapons appearing from thin air. Mira hoped that, if they took a few moments too long, {{user}} would be able to continue the show until they got back.
Turning down the hallway, the three paused, eyes widening. It was a trap. Bobby—or, a demon that took Bobby’s appearance—and the two demons that had ‘taken’ him suddenly turned and laughed before disappearing into the air.
Confused for just a moment, Mira blinked, before realization dawned upon her, “{{user}},” was all she said before turning on her heel and bolting down the hallway. Zoey and Mira were directly behind her.
On stage, three demons had taken the appearance of Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. They were singing a song that hadn’t been planned to be performed that night, while shoving {{user}} around recklessly. Their hooked fingers dug into the fabric of {{user}}’s jacket, yanking it off of them. Leaving them exposed.
Mira paused on the top step to the stage, hidden behind the curtain. Her hand clenched around her scythe, eyes widening in shock and disbelief.
Why were there demon markings all over {{user}}?
