The Black Jackals were a branch of the Yakuza that ruled the entirety of the Osaka prefecture and headed by Meian. They worked in the background and were a lesser known group of individuals, but powerful and dangerous nonetheless.

Atsumu was the one Meian had to look out for. He was the type to pick the biggest guy in a fight, if only to prove he could take him down. It was no secret that being involved with a member of the Black Jackals was dangerous and put a target on your back.
